§ 12-34. Community service building.

  • (a)

    Each manufactured home park shall have at least one central community building with a minimum floor area of 40 square feet per manufactured home lot. One-half of the floor area shall be provided underground for use as a storm shelter. The shelter shall be equipped with a fresh air system so designated by the Minnesota State Building Code. The building shall be located in such a manner so as to service the park conveniently.

    (b)

    The building shall have central heating, and be maintained in a safe, clean and sanitary condition. Artificial lighting shall be provided during all hours of darkness.

    (c)

    The building shall provide for general assembly and party rooms, public telephone, public toilets and lavatories, as specified by the building official, and laundry washing and drying areas containing at least one washer and dryer.
