§ 5-42. Poundmaster.

The city council, based upon a recommendation by the city administrator, shall appoint a poundmaster and determine his compensation by resolution. The poundmaster shall furnish a bond to the city. The bond shall be conditioned upon payment to the city of all funds collected by him under this division. The amount of the bond shall be as determined by resolution.
