§ 6-81. Water service.

(a)

Every water service must be at least one inch inside diameter type K copper or ductile iron pipe. The building valve must be at least one inch full flow ball valve or approved equal. An approved shock arrestor must be installed after the meter before any branch lines.

(b)

Approved curb boxes with valve access are required. Valve access covers must be at finished grade and the location marked with a four by four (4 × 4) stake driving into the ground.
