§ 6-57. Permit.

(a)

No person shall erect, construct, alter or change any heating system or ventilating or air conditioning system in the city without first securing a permit therefor and paying the fee established by resolution. Window model air conditioning units do not require a permit.

(b)

The city council shall determine a uniform fee for issuance of the permits by resolution. Such fee shall be paid when the permit is issued. The city council shall determine by resolution a uniform fee for reinspections or for inspections called for prior to the installation's readiness, or when no permit has been obtained.
