§ 6-58. Appeals.

  • (a)

    Whenever the mechanical inspector shall disapprove an application or refuse to grant a permit applied for or when it is claimed that the provisions of ordinances regulating heating, ventilation and air conditioning do not apply or that the true intent and meaning of such provisions have been misconstrued or wrongfully interpreted, the applicant may appeal from the decision of the mechanical inspector to the board of appeals. Such appeals shall be made in writing to the building official. The building official shall notify the applicant of the date the appeal will be heard. Work shall be discontinued until a decision has been rendered.

    (b)

    In this section "board of appeals" means as specified in the Minnesota State Building Code.
